I logged on this morning ready to write about a soldier’s blog I recently discovered. Before I started to write I opened my google reader and there it was a new post from Peter Mayhew on the condition of his wife Anissa. I discovered Anissa’s story through my activity stream on Cliqset.
Anissa Mayhew is by all accounts an amazing woman, mom, wife, blogger and so much more! Unfortunately, I didn’t know very much about her until she recently had a stroke. Her husband Peter is keeping all of us up to date on her condition through her blog. I’ve been following the blog since right before Thanksgiving. I’m in awe of the support Anissa and her family are receiving from the social media community. The goodness that flows in daily is truly inspirational. And that’s what community is about….right?
Today Peter asked for some support, I’m sure many of you know Anissa so I wanted to help spread the word and share this post on my blog as well. (I’m also going to share her blog into my stream at Cliqset.)
